Connect SoftSignal directly inside Claude.ai — no app to install, works in any browser.
Before you start
You'll need a paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise) and your
SoftSignal subscriber email. Custom connectors aren't available on Claude's free tier.
Steps

Open connector settings
In Claude.ai, go to Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector.

Enter the SoftSignal server URL
Name it SoftSignal and paste this URL:
https://chat.getsoftsignal.com/sseLeave any optional client ID / secret fields blank — the connector registers itself automatically.

Sign in when prompted
Click Connect. A SoftSignal sign-in page opens — enter your subscriber email and we'll send a one-click sign-in link. No password needed.

Confirm and start asking
Once connected, SoftSignal appears in your connectors. Enable it in a chat and try: "What is managed money positioning in cotton right now?"
Tip: if Claude answers from general knowledge instead of live data, ask it
explicitly to "use the SoftSignal tools" — browser clients sometimes reach for their own
memory before calling a connector.
Troubleshooting
Sign-in link not arriving? Check your spam folder. The email comes from Firebase / [email protected].
Subscription not found? The email you enter must match your SoftSignal subscriber email exactly. Contact [email protected] if you're unsure which email is on file.
